Two former LSU students have accused Derrius Guice of sexual assault. The two women claim that back in 2016, when Guice was a freshman at LSU, he raped them in their own apartments after heavy nights of drinking. The women claim that they brought up the incidents with multiple coaches, an athletic trainer and a nurse, but no incident report was ever open. Neither woman reported the assault to the police. LSU made a statement, “”LSU and LSU Athletics take all accusations of sexual assault with the utmost seriousness. Formal complaints are promptly and fully investigated and the rights and privacy of students are protected as stipulated by the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act.”
